JOE IURATO

Joe Lurato er en tværfaglig kunstner, hvis værker er bygget på et fundament af stencils og aerosol. Han arbejder med at forenkle det fotorealistiske, hvilket viser sig i hans mange lag af stencils, der har en tydelig ren og illustrerende æstetik.
Mens Joes vægmalerier har prydet kvarterer langs østkysten af ​​USA i årevis, er han også blevet kendt for den unikke placering og fotografering af miniaturelakeret træudskæringer i det offentlige rum. Ved at bruge det udendørs miljø til at skabe stedsspecifikke installationer, skaber han vinduer til en fortælling dannet af personlige oplevelser.
